It ended up in court and due to all of the issues the company that built this station will not longer be allowed to bid on any new County Buildings.) It was built by the same company that built Station 22 but due to the issues that they had with the company the opening was held up for over a year. The county website shows both a truck and rescue responding out of there. The new station is designed for three rigs (an engine, truck, and rescue) but for now all that is running out of there is Engine 16. This photo was taken at the open house and shown in the photo is Engine 16 and Truck 61. It took well over a year for the move to occur but instead of shutting down Station 16 they kept it open and reassigned the Station Number from 16 to Station 61. Last year I went to a Clark County Fire Department Open House out at Station 31 and learned that at that time Station 16 was going to be shut down and moved to a new location.
